ABC Fun - Letter E

I had all intentions to write this post before we left for vacation. But as usual, the vacation prep took over my time! So it's a few weeks late but better late than never!

The letter E was the focus a few weeks ago. The kids had a lot of fun doing all kinds of fun things, starting of course, with our letter E box. Elephants, eggs, Mr Potato Head with only ears and eyes, envelope and some E's of course made up the box. I actually forgot to take a picture before I switched it out for the letter F.

We used the chalkboard to write some E words.

The kids were really into crafts and markers so we did a lot of drawing, coloring and crafty things. The both loved making the egg carton E's.

Little Miss had fun coloring by uppercase and lowercase to make an Earth.

She also did some instructional coloring and other worksheets.

Mister Man had fun coloring his sheets as well. He loves scribbling!

They did some fun pretend play, eating in their kitchen. Pretending to be elephants. And pointing to eyes, ears and elbows.

Overall, a good work, even if the weeks seemed to fly past. I think they got the letter association, hopefully! I feel like we did a ton of worksheets and coloring, which i prefer to do less of, but that was what they were interested in so I went with it.

We took a few weeks off for vacation, and are just now getting started on the letter F. Little Miss starts school and dance this week as well. So it should be a fun week!
